FARMVILLE, VA. – Matt Nadolski went 3-for-4 with two batted in and Ryan Koopman pitched a scoreless 6 2/3 to lead Campbell to a 3-0 win Sunday over Longwood at a rainy Baldwin Stadium, sweeping the Big South series.

Campbell moved to 18-7 on the season with its fifth win in a row and 4-2 in conference play, while Longwood dipped to 12-13 overall and 2-4 in Big South games.

Both teams went scoreless through the first five innings, which included a lengthy two hour, seven minute rain delay.

Campbell broke through in the top of the fifth, with Danny Pardo and Steven Leonard posting back to back one out singles. After the pair moved to second and third on a groundout, Matt Nadolski's double scored both to give CU a 2-0 lead.

Nadolski picked up his third hit of the game to lead off the eighth, and moved to third on Elijah Trail single through the right side. Will Albertson made the Campbell lead 3-0 with a sacrifice fly, plating Nadolski.

Ryan Koopman (3-1) pitched 6 2/3 in the win, giving up seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk. Bobby Thorson punched out three with one hit in 1 1/3 innings of relief, getting strikeouts to end the seventh and the eighth.

Ryan Thompson registered his sixth save with a scoreless ninth, fanning one and allowing one hit before inducing the game-ending double play.

Steven Leonard and John Reilly also picked up two hits each for the Camels in the win.

Mac McCafferty led Longwood, going 3-for-4. Matt Dickason and Travis Biddix added a pair of hits for the Lancers.

Campbell took a 4-1 win in 10 innings in Friday's weekend opener and took the series with a 7-3 victory Saturday.

Thompson, a senior from Turner, Ore., made his third appearance of the weekend, going 1-0 with two saves in six innings. John Reilly also put together a five-hit series, going 5-for-10 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.

The Camels return home on Tuesday, March 25, hosting North Carolina State at 6 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium. CU makes its Big South home debut on March 28 against High Point.
