ROCK HILL, S.C. – With the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, Elijah Trail singled to center, scoring the winning run and sending 3rd-seeded Campbell to the Big South Championship game.

The RBI single broke a 1-1 tie, defeating No. 4 High Point for the second time on Saturday in the Big South Tournament at the Winthrop Ballpark. The Camels defeated the Panthers 3-1 in game one of the day, forcing the seven-inning afternoon elimination contest.

Campbell improved to 39-19 on the season, making it to the Big South Championship game for the second-straight season, while High Point finishes its year 33-22.

A wild pitch moved Albertson up, and Seth LaRue reached on a strikeout wild pitch, loading the bases.
