Quick Hits
Campbell opened the 2017 season with a 70-0 win over Methodist. The Camels raced out to a 49-0 halftime lead, scoring twice on special teams in the first quarter. Ten difference Camels found the endzone in the victory, leading CU to its second-highest point total and scoring margin in the program's modern era (since 2008). Campbell defeated Apprentice 76-0 on Sept. 10, 2011.

Campbell, one of just four FCS programs to hoist 70 or more points in week one, rolled up 434 yards of total offense, averaging 6.9 yards per play, while holding the Division III Monarchs to just 62 yards.

A pair of Camels were honored by the PFL following the week one win. Defensive end Emmanuel Olenga was named the PFL Defensive Player of the Week, while redshirt sophomore Jaquan Brooks was tabbed Special Teams Player of the Week.

Olenga, who also picked up a STATS honorable mention FCS National Defensive Player of the Week nod, notched a Campbell single-game record 4.5 sacks, tacking on 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Brooks, meanwhile, registered another CU record with 141 punt return yards, adding a touchdown.

Starting quarterback Anthony Robbins completed 2-of-5 passes for 67 yards and two scores, while Daniel Smith hit 5-of-7 for 106 yards and a pair of TDs against the Monarchs. Redshirt sophomore Joshua Jones also racked up 111 yards and a touchdown on the ground in his first career start.

Scouting the Hoyas
A Big East member in most sports, the Hoyas compete in the Patriot League for football. Georgetown finished seventh in the conference in 2016, going 3-8 overall and 0-6 in league play, including wins over PFL affiliates Davidson, 38-14, and Marist, 20-17. The Hoyas are picked sixth in the league's 2017 preseason poll, and will make season debut on Saturday.

Georgetown will be anchored by 2017 Preseason All-Patriot League picks J'V'on Butler and Khristian Tate. Butler, a junior linebacker, collected a team-high 87 tackles last season, adding 5.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. Tate, a sophomore defensive lineman, posted 22 stops with 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in 2016.

Saturday will mark the first meeting between the Camels and the Hoyas on the gridiron.
