RALEIGH, N.C. – Henrik Lilja tied for ninth individually and Campbell finished in a seventh-place tie on the team leaderboard after Sunday's final round of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
 
Lilja (70-71-72—213) posted his third-straight top-10 outing in the fall 2021 season and was one of 21 golfers in the 89-player field to finish in red numbers on the par-72, 7358-yard layout.
 
Host NC State (285-280-282—847) won team honors at 17-under par, five strokes ahead of runner-up UNC Greensboro (279-276-297—852).  Campbell (287-291-286—864) finished in a tie with Southern Miss at even par.
 
Freshman Henric Bjelke tied for 25th (73-74-70—217) and posted the team's low round of the day.  Junior Claude Churchward tied for 35th (74-70-75—219), while senior Edwin Blomander (73-76-72—221) and junior Alejandro Cogollo (71-78-72—221) tied for 47th.  Competing as an individual, freshman Rasmus Jonasson tied for 79th (77-76-77—230) in his collegiate debut.
 
Nick Lyerly of UNCG won medalist honors at 10-under (65-71-70—206), two strokes ahead of East Carolina's AJ Beechler (71-70-67—208).
 
As a team, the Camels finished second in the field with 182 pars and third in par-3 scoring (-1).  Lilja tied for the individual lead on the par-3 holes (-3) and played the par fives at 3-under.  Jonasson was 2-under on the par threes.
 
Campbell concludes its fall schedule Oct. 31-Nov. 1 with the Daniel Island Intercollegiate at Daniel Island Club – Ralston Creek in Charleston, S.C.

The Course – Lonnie Poole GC (Par 72, 7358 yards): The Lonnie Poole Golf Course, which opened in 2009, is an Arnold Palmer Signature tract and features great variety, with low lying areas as well as fairways with rolling hills. Several areas of the course provide views of downtown Raleigh as well as the NC State campus.  The course features three types of character - flat, wetlands, and trees – and includes nine par four holes, five par three layouts and four par five holes.  Campbell has competed at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate at Lonnie Poole GC in each of the last six years, while also participating in the NCAA Raleigh Regional in May 2018.
