Pontus Nyholm is tied for eighth individually and Campbell is fifth on the team leader board after 36 holes Monday of the Southern Invitational at the Falls Club.
Ranked No. 44 by Golfstat, Campbell (295-287—582) enters Tuesday's final round 10 strokes behind leader Middle Tennessee State (281-291—572). VCU (287-286—573) is second, while Old Dominion (282-295—577) and Mercer (293-284—577) are tied for third in the 12-team event.
Nyholm followed an opening round 73 with a two-under 70 Monday afternoon and is three shots behind co-leaders Peter Gasperini of VCU (71-69—140) and Jakob Henriksson of ODU (70-70—140). Nyholm's day included seven birdies and two eagles. He leads the field in par-5 scoring (-6).

Henrik Lilja is tied for 22nd (71-75—146), while senior
Josh Hetherington (75-73—148) and sophomore
Claude Churchward (76-72—148) are tied for 27th. Red-shirt freshman
Romain Lanteri is tied for 42nd (79-72—151).
As a team, the Camels lead the field in eagles (3) and are tied for second with 35 birdies. Lilja is tied for the lead in scoring on the par-4 holes (-1), while Hetherington is tied for third with 10 birdies.
