Aaron Rund made his first start and was solid, going 4.1 innings allowing three runs. His 4.1 innings was good for the longest start by a Camel in a midweek game this season.

Zach Neto kept his hit-streak alive with a solo home run in the sixth inning to tie the game at 3-3. Carolina broke the game open with a five-run eighth inning.

Last weekend, Campbell swept UNC Asheville in dominant fashion, out scoring the Bulldogs 40-4 across the three-game series.
