JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – Heavy rains in Coastal South Carolina have forced the cancellation of the Battle at Briar's Creek men's golf tournament.  The 14-team event was halted during Monday's first round and course conditions did not permit resumption.
 
Campbell, which finished third in its season opening event at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, will resume its fall schedule Oct. 10-11 in the Georgetown Intercollegiate at Beallsville, Md.
