CLEVELAND, TENN. - Campbell distance runners shined on the first day of the Flames Invitational at the Lee University Track Complex.

Dorcus Ewoi took first overall in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:27.15.

Athanas Kioko joined Ewoi in earning a first place finish as he took the top time in the men's 5000m at 13:57.21.

Lesego Mpshe wrapped up the day by finishing third overall in the women's 10,000m with a time of 34:56.85.

Ewoi and Kioko along with Laderique McNeill return to run events on the final day of the meet on Saturday.
