The Camels (6-4, 3-0 Big South) are seeking their second ever 4-0 start in Big South play, and first since beginning 5-0 in 2017.

Campbell is coming off convincing
18-3 win at Radford on Wednesday, were five Camels registered four or more points, matching a school record for fewest goals allowed in a game (3/20/16 at Mercer, 15-3; 4/5/17 vs. Presbyterian, 17-3), while earning its largest margin of victory this season.
The Camels outshot RU 38-10 and picked up 20 of 31 ground balls while forcing 22 turnovers for the second straight game. CU led 13-2 at the halftime break after a 7-0 second quarter.
Freshman
Kaitlyn Gallagher posted a game and season-high seven points on a goal and six assists, while
Joslin Hanbury scored a career-high six goals in the win.
Ally Heath punched in four goals, all in the first half, while
Megan Matthews added two goals and two assists, surpassing the 100 career points milestone in the process.
Sam Bischoff notched her fourth straight and seventh total hat trick of the season with three goals and an assist, while
Olivia Ohlmann scored twice.
Katie Ochall and
Rebekah Taylor each caused three turnovers, combining for nine ground balls, with
Maggie Dolan collecting eight draw controls.
Campbell is one of three squads at the top of the
Big South standings at 3-0, along with league newcomers Furman and Mercer.
For the season, Bischoff owns a team-high 43 points on 33 goals and 10 assists, adding 11 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Matthews, meanwhile, has tallied a Big South-leading 19 assists with 18 goals, while
Julianna Sanchez has posted 28 points, including 19 goals, with 66 draw controls.
Defensively,
Rebekah Taylor has caused a team-high 14 turnovers with 26 ground balls, while
Annie Ryan has picked up 11 ground balls with 12 caused turnovers. In goal,
Emma Strickland has collected 78 saves.
Longwood heads into the weekend at 5-6 overall and 2-1 in Big South games following a 15-10 loss to Furman on Wednesday. Haley Moomau leads the Lancers with 40 points on 23 goals and 17 assists, while Lauren Cerretani owns 15 caused turnovers with 52 draw controls and 18 goals.
The Lancers lead the all-time series with the Camels 6-4, with CU taking four of the last five meetings, including a 19-8 contest in the 2021 regular season finale.
The Camels return home on April 13, hosting Gardner-Webb.
