Winthrop

Last Time Out
Campbell swept the opening weekend of Big South play with a straight-set win at Gardner-Webb and a five set thriller at Charleston Southern. Melody Paige notched career-highs in kills in each match en route to winning Big South Player of the Week.

The win at CSU was Campbell's first five-set win of the season. The Camels won the second, fourth and fifth sets in the contest.

Know Your Opponents
Presbyterian
The Blue Hose enter the weekend 4-10, 0-2 in league play after falling to USC Upstate and High Point in the opening weekend. PC fell to High Point in straight sets, but two of the sets were close with the league favorite. Two of the three dropped sets at USC Upstate were also decided by just three points.

Presbyterian leads the Big South in service aces while sitting last in aces allowed. Anna Baranski will be a key piece for the team as the only player in the Big South to have logged a triple double this season.

PC was voted to finish fifth in the Big South preseason poll. They are led by 10th year head coach Korrinn Burgess.

Winthrop
The Eagles begin the weekend at 6-7, 2-0 in Big South play after sweeping both UNC Asheville and Radford in the first weekend of league play. Winthrop is a stout defensive team leading the league in opponent hitting percentage, one spot and .011 ahead of Campbell.

Isabella Murray orchestrates the Winthrop offense as the only player in the Big South to average more than 10 assists per set. Most go to Alanya Jansky, the team leader with 3.51 kills/set.

Winthrop was voted to finish third in the Big South. They are led by Interim Head Coach Heather Gearhart.

Big Time Blocking
The Camels are 37th nationally in total blocks with 129 on the year. Melody Paige leads the efforts at the net with 80 blocks so far, good for 4th in the nation. Her 1.48 blocks/set is also good for tenth nationally. The senior has 26 more blocks than the next closest Big South player. Four Camels have at least 36.0 blocks, two more than any other league team.
