Camels to face Texas A&M in NCAA Tournament

BUIES CREEK - The Fighting Camels are headed to College Station, Texas to take on 3-seed Texas A&M in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Campbell's journey begins Dec. 5 at roughly 7:30 p.m. 

The winner between the Camels and Aggies will take on the winner of 6-seed TCU and Stephen F. Austin, who are also playing in College Station. Campbell drew the second game of the day, set for 30 minutes after the conclusion of SFA and TCU. 

Campbell, the CAA regular season and tournament champion, will make its second appearance in the NCAA tournament, and first since 2021.

Texas A&M posted a 23-4, 14-1 mark in the SEC this season to finish second in the SEC regular season before bowing out in the tournament semifinals.

The trip will be a homecoming for a pair of seniors, Aley Clent and Abbie Tuyo, who both hail from the Lonestar State.
