BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell wrestling welcomes No. 4 Nebraska to Buies Creek for their first home match of the season in the Dual on the Diamond at Jim Perry Stadium Friday afternoon.

The dual is presented by the Hickory Crawdads, and it will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, the second such streamed event for the Fighting Camels this season. Using this link, wrestling fans can purchase a college wrestling only option for just $2.99 a month.

The two teams face off at 4:30 at JPS, Campbell's baseball facility. Campbell's baseball program has seen resounding success recently, winning six conference championships in the last eight seasons. Former Camels currently in the MLB include Cedric Mullins (BAL), Zach Neto (LAA) and Ryan Thompson (ARI). Allan Winans (ATL) and Seth Johnson (PHI) also made appearances in the professional ranks last season.

The Camels will be without their top-ranked wrestler, No. 9 Taye Ghadiali. Ghadiali was selected to participate in the NWCA All-Star Classic, which takes place on Saturday on the campus of Penn State.

On facing tough opponents at the start of the season:

"We've been faced with these challenges over the last three-four years of wrestling when the schedule up front has been really tough. Which is good, because you get a feel for those top guys at the end of the season that you normally don't get. It's a great opportunity, we've been here before wrestling these guys."

On if he's handling this match any differently:

"I just get excited about it. [Van Dee] and I have been in the same tournaments, same brackets, throughout the last few years. This is nothing different, it'll still be the same match that I try and wrestle. Go in, get to my attacks and stuff like that and just get after it."

On what he's looking forward to about this experience:

"I think it's going to be really cool. We do events like this all the time. One of the most hostile environments we've been in has been the Wyoming dual, where everyone is so close and people yelling at you, it gets hot in there and stuff like that. But, being out on the baseball field, we wrestle outside at the beginning of the year every year, and sometimes it has been a little cold. So, I think preparing for the weather, staying warm, and not letting outside factors get to us. It's just a match, whether it's cold or hot, you just got to get after it."
