Isabella Smith named CAA Pitcher of the Week

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Isabella Smith has been selected as the CAA Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday morning.

The Raleigh, N.C. native went 2-0 in the circle this past weekend with a save, helping Campbell sweep Stony Brook in its first CAA series matchup. Smith pitched a total of 16.2 innings with a 0.42 ERA and 22 strikeouts. She also struck out a season high of 11 batters, her third time striking out double digits this season.

The other weekly award winners from the CAA was outfielder Skylar Stockton from UNCW (player of the week) and Delaware's infielder Gianna Costaro (rookie of the week).
