Alumni Day: Campbell is celebrating Alumni Day during the contest. Alumni who have made the trip to Buies Creek for the weekend festivities will be recognized on the field at halftime.

Scouting Charleston: The Cougars are 1-2-1 in CAA play so far, with their last match being a 3-1 win over William & Mary at home last Saturday. Ben Bagshaw secured a brace to clinch the victory. Bagshaw has four goals on the year along with Matt Lenert, and two different Cougars have three assists. Jordan Schumacher continues his run in goal. He's allowed 12 goals in nine games while also producing four shutouts. The Cougars were picked to finish second in the CAA South Division in the preseason poll, while Lenert, Ezra White, Noah Gold and Olly Marshall were named to the preseason all-conference team. Gold was also named to the 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

Series History: Campbell is 8-9-2 in 19 matches all-time against Charleston, while outscoring the Cougars 34-32. Earlier this season, the teams played to a 0-0 draw.

Last Time Out: The Camels defeated former Big South foe Radford 3-0 on the road Tuesday evening, thanks to goals from Kristijan Bandur, Ethan Roberts and Sam Roberson. The win was Coach Fonder's 100th win as the program's head coach. He's the third coach to reach the milestone, but second to do so in Campbell's Division I era.

Caught 100: Dustin Fonder became the third coach in Campbell history to surpass the century mark, joining Derrick Leeson (101 wins, 1991-2001) and Jim Cole (138 wins, '63-'75). Once he wins two more contests to surpass Leeson, Fonder will have the most Division I wins in school history, as Cole coached in CU's NAIA era.

Top of the League: Goalkeeper Max Leviton is third in the CAA in goals against average (0.778), and second in shutouts (4) and save percentage (0.774). Ethan Roberts is third in total goals (4) and game-winning goals (2). Xander Martin is fourth in the league with three assists.

Last Season: The Camels improved on their 2023 season with an 8-6-4 record in 2024 (3-4-1 in CAA play). Returning defender Luc Lavielle was named to the CAA All-Freshman team, while Owen Mikoy was a second-team honoree and Daniel Osei-Tutu earned third-team recognition.

New to the Creek: Campbell welcomes 12 new faces to its team in 2024. This year's freshman class includes forwards Dani Giovannetti, Auggie Squillace, Skyler Wright, Kana Dube and Kristijan Bandur. Defender Ronnie Garcia also joins the freshman class. Transfers Sam Sery, Xander Martin, Zane Pederson, Kairi Saito, Xander Naguib and Daniel Santos Rosa round out the newcomers.

Dapaah and Matos earn Preseason Honors: Filipe Matos and Evans Dapaah were named to the Preseason All-CAA Team as voted on by the coaches. Matos led the Camels in goals and points last year, while Dapaah was a strong mainstay within the Campbell midfield.

Returning Experience: Five Camels that recorded over 1,000 minutes in 2024 make their return to Eakes for the 2025 season. Jake Roberts, the new team captain, returns along the back line with Luc Lavielle. Evans Dapaah makes his return to the midfield, and Filipe Matos and Marco Wright find their places back on the wings.
