SCOUTING ELON: The Phoenix come into this matchup with a 5-1-2 record, including a 3-0-1 mark at home. After a 0-0 draw against Old Dominion to start the year, the Phoenix rattled off five consecutive wins before a 1-1 draw against William & Mary and a 0-1 defeat to Longwood on Tuesday. The team has conference wins over UNCW and Charleston to lead the CAA South Division. Martin Kozak (two goals, three assists) and Dominik Renz (three goals, one assist) lead the team with seven points each. Jackson Leavitt has played every minute in goal and has allowed just three goals and recorded 19 saves. He is first in the CAA in GAA, shutouts and save percentage. Marc Reeves is in his ninth season at the helm, and his squad was picked in the preseason to finish first in the south division. 
 
SERIES HISTORY: The Camels have a 10-13-1 record in the 24 games played against Elon. The Phoenix came away with a 2-1 victory in last year's matchup.
 
LAST TIME OUT: The Camels came away with a 3-2 victory over Wofford on Saturday. Daniel Santos Rosa and Filipe Matos scored the first two goals, and Ethan Roberts recorded his team-leading third goal of the year in the 82nd minute for the game winner.
 
CHASING 100: Head Coach Dustin Fonder is one win away from his 100th as the skipper at CU. He will become the third coach in Campbell history to surpass the century mark, joining Derrick Leeson (101 wins, 1991-2001) and Jim Cole (138 wins, 1963-75).

TOP OF THE LEAGUE: Goalkeeper Max Leviton is third in the CAA in goals against average (1.000) and second in save percentage (0.750).
 
LAST SEASON: The Camels improved on their 2023 season with an 8-6-4 record in 2024 (3-4-1 in CAA play). Returning defender Luc Lavielle was named to the CAA All-Freshman team, while Owen Mikoy was a second-team honoree and Daniel Osei-Tutu earned third-team recognition.
 
NEW TO THE CREEK: Campbell welcomes 12 new faces to its team in 2024. This year's freshman class includes forwards Dani Giovannetti, Auggie Squillace, Skyler Wright, Kana Dube and Kristijan Bandur. Defender Ronnie Garcia also joins the freshman class. Transfers Sam Sery, Xander Martin, Zane Pederson, Kairi Saito, Xander Naguib and Daniel Santos Rosa round out the newcomers.
 
DAPAAH AND MATOS EARN PRESEASON HONORS: Filipe Matos and Evans Dapaah were named to the Preseason All-CAA Team as voted on by the coaches. Matos led the Camels in goals and points last year, while Dapaah was a strong mainstay within the Campbell midfield.
 
RETURNING EXPERIENCE: Five Camels that recorded over 1,000 minutes in 2024 make their return to Eakes for the 2025 season. Jake Roberts, the new team captain, returns along the back line with Luc Lavielle. Evans Dapaah makes his return to the midfield, and Filipe Matos and Marco Wright find their places back on the wings.
