SCOUTING ELON: The Phoenix come into this matchup with a 5-1-2 record, including a 3-0-1 mark at home. After a 0-0 draw against Old Dominion to start the year, the Phoenix rattled off five consecutive wins before a 1-1 draw against William & Mary and a 0-1 defeat to Longwood on Tuesday. The team has conference wins over UNCW and Charleston to lead the CAA South Division. Martin Kozak (two goals, three assists) and Dominik Renz (three goals, one assist) lead the team with seven points each. Jackson Leavitt has played every minute in goal and has allowed just three goals and recorded 19 saves. He is first in the CAA in GAA, shutouts and save percentage. Marc Reeves is in his ninth season at the helm, and his squad was picked in the preseason to finish first in the south division.Â

SERIES HISTORY: The Camels have a 10-13-1 record in the 24 games played against Elon. The Phoenix came away with a 2-1 victory in last year's matchup.

Dustin Fonder is one win away from his 100th as the skipper at CU. He will become the third coach in Campbell history to surpass the century mark, joining Derrick Leeson (101 wins, 1991-2001) and Jim Cole (138 wins, 1963-75).

DAPAAH AND MATOS EARN PRESEASON HONORS: Filipe Matos and
Evans Dapaah were named to the Preseason All-CAA Team as voted on by the coaches. Matos led the Camels in goals and points last year, while Dapaah was a strong mainstay within the Campbell midfield.
