Camels set for visit to UNCW

BUIES CREEK - Campbell will look to get back in the win column this weekend with a pair of matches at UNCW. Both Friday and Saturday's matches will be broadcast on FloCollege.

Series History
The Camels and Seahawks are familiar foes with Campbell going 19-36 in 55 all-time meetings. The sides have split the yearly meetings each of the last two seasons since Campbell joined the CAA. Last year saw Campbell pick up a 3-1 home win before falling 3-0 the following day.

Scouting The Seahawks
UNCW brings a 3-12, 2-4 mark into the weekend. The Seahawks have been swept by both Hofstra and Towson, and own the series win over NC A&T. Hannah Forbes paces the offense with 2.41 kills/set. Marnie Ursem ranks second in the CAA in blocks with 1.14 per set to lead the defense up front.

UNCW is led by head coach Lo Hoyer in her first year with the program.

Last Time Out
Campbell suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time all season with a pair of 3-1 losses to Charleston. Maja Daca turned in a big double-double in Saturday's match with 18 kills and a career-high 20 digs.

Looking Ahead
The Camels host Hampton for Campbell's Homecoming weekend. Friday night is Campbell's annual Dig Pink match. Saturday is Alumni Day on Homecoming.
