Series History
The Camels and Badgers have never met on the hardwood. Campbell is no stranger to the state though, having made the trip to Green Bay just a season ago. The Camels are 1-5 all-time against Big 10 opponents, owning a win over Iowa in 2011.

Scouting The Badgers
Wisconsin is coming off a trip to the Big Ten title game and an NCAA tournament appearance as a 3-seed. The Badgers were upset by 6-seed BYU in the second round. The Badgers return a key pair in John Blackwell and Nolan Winter. Blackwell averaged 15.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while Winter averaged 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds.

The Badgers are led by Greg Gard in his 10th season at the helm.

The Andrzejek Era
John Andrzejek was named as Campbell's sixth head coach in the Division 1 era on Mar. 20, 2025 following a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Florida that culminated in a national championship. Andrzejek is the third-youngest head coach in the country.

Throughout the summer, Andrzejek built his coaching staff and brought in nine newcomers to the roster, six transfers and three freshmen.

Preseason Picks
Dovydas Butka was tabbed CAA preseason honorable mention. Butka posted 9.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a freshman at Pepperdine in 2024-25. The Fighting Camels were selected sixth in the CAA preseason coaches poll.

Season Openers
The Camels have won seven straight season-openers, including its last three season-openers against DI opponents. CU last began with a loss in 2017, falling at Penn State to open the year.

Against Ranked Opponents
Campbell is in search of its first-ever win over a Top-25 team. The Camels last opened a season against a ranked opponent at No. 13 NC State in 1984. Campbell last faced a ranked opponent at No. 9 Duke in 2021, a 67-56 loss in Durham.
