BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After a historical outing last week, Campbell freshman Jasmine Nivar was selected as the CAA's Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
 
Nivar is still the only player to win the Rookie of the Week award multiple times this season, and she's the first player to earn a third CAA weekly award.
 
Against Norfolk State last Monday, Nivar tied her career-high with 20 points, 15 of which came in the fourth quarter to help the Camels mount an 11-point comeback.
 
The Apex native became the first Campbell player to ever score 15 points in a quarter. In the fourth alone, Nivar played all 10 minutes, was 6-of-8 at the free throw line and pulled down five rebounds.
 
In the second game of the week, Nivar tied for the team lead against East Carolina, scoring 12 points for her eighth game in double-figures this year.
