SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY: The Tribe comes into this contest having played just one match, a 1-1 draw on the road against Navy. Aidan Morrison netted the equalizer in the 70th minute off assists from Gabe Ruitenberg and Diogo Branco. William & Mary was picked to finish in fourth place in the CAA South, earning just one more point than Campbell. The two teams had identical 3-4-1 records in CAA play last year, but the Camels secured three more non-conference wins. Morrison was joined by Lucas Caldas and Evan Rabush as honorable mentions on the Preseason All-CAA Team. Chris Norris enters his 22nd year at the helm of his alma mater.
Â
SERIES HISTORY: The two teams have faced off just eight times previous to this year. Campbell holds the overall goal-scoring advantage, 21-20, but the Tribe has won five of the eight contests. However, CU has won both matchups as a member of the CAA, 3-2 (2024) and 2-1 (2023).
