Campbell ranked fourth in United Soccer Coaches regional poll

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After back-to-back wins over Winthrop and William & Mary, the Fighting Camels rank fourth in the United Soccer Coaches' Atlantic Region poll.

The rankings, which were announced Tuesday afternoon, came before Campbell's 1-1 draw against VCU. The Camels' record now sits at 2-1-1 and 1-0 in CAA play.

Ethan Roberts leads the team with two goals and four points, and Marco Wright has three points through four games following his goal against VCU.

Fellow CAA member Elon is ranked sixth in the USC Atlantic Region. Bucknell, Colgate and Lehigh make up the top three, while Boston rounds out the top five along with Campbell.

Along with the Top 25 National Poll, the United Soccer Coaches divide NCAA D1 men's soccer teams into eight regions and rank the top 10 in each region.

The Camels ended their 2024 season ranked sixth in the region, along with six other CAA squads.
