FIRST TIME FOR FEPESSI
- Junior Zahra Fepessi scored her first collegiate goal on Thursday night against Stony Brook.
- Ella Wineka was credited with her first collegiate assist after finding Fepessi at the top of the box who then drew the goalie out from the net before she tapped it into the goal.
- Fepessi is the seventh Camel to score a goal this season.
GARRISON GOALS
- Sophomore Gillian Garrison leads the Camels with a pair of goals.
- Garrison netted her first goal of the season against Radford, which marked her first career goal.
- She tallied a career high three shots at Queens and a career high two shots on goal against #24 Virginia Tech.
- Garrison is just one of three Camels to start all nine games this season.
- She logged a career-high 73 minutes played against Coastal Carolina.

SHUT 'EM OUT
- Anaïs van Doesburg made just her second and third career starts in the first two matches of the season. posting back-to-back shutouts. The last time the Camels posted back-to-back shutouts to open the season was in 2011. The Camels picked up a 5-0 win over Delaware to open the season and 2-0 win over UMBC in game two. van Doesburg now has three shutouts this season which is good for third most in the conference.
LEADING THE WAY
Head Coach
Jeff Gross (UMBC '91) enters his fourth season at Campbell and as a head coach. Gross spent the previous eight seasons, including the last two as associate head coach, on the staff at UNC Greensboro. While at UNCG, Gross helped guide the Spartans to back-to-back Southern Conference championships and NCAA College Cup appearances in 2017 and 2018. Gross took over a program that is coming off consecutive trips to the Big South Conference championship game as well as an appearance in the 2020-21 NCAA tournament.
