Camels to visit UNCW

BUIES CREEK - The Campbell Camels return to action after a week off with a Saturday night tilt at UNCW. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside Trask Coliseum.

The game will be available on the Cape Fear CW station, and WITN's MyNetwork TV (7.2) in the Greenville market. 

Series History
The Camels have faced the Seahawks 112 times, the most of any opponent. Campbell is 45-67 all-time, and 1-3 since joining the CAA. Campbell is looking to end a 13-game road losing streak to UNCW. 

UNCW swept last season's meetings, with Campbell's last win coming in 2024 in a 105-100 2OT victory in Buies Creek. 

Scouting the Seahawks
UNCW enters with a 16-2, 5-0 CAA record and sitting atop the league standings. The Seahawks two losses came at Kent State and home against Howard. 

Nolan Hodge leads the scoring with 16.2 ppg on 42% from downtown, pacing four players averaging double figures. Patrick Wessler leads the rebounding efforts with 9.1 rpg, good for third in the CAA. UNCW touts the league's top defense, allowing a CAA-low 65.7 points per game. 

The Seahawks are led by Takayo Siddle in his sixth year as head coach. 

Last Time Out
Campbell fell late at Elon, 83-82. Elon's only lead of the game came on the games final bucket after Campbell led for more than 38 minutes. DJ Smith posted a career-high 32 points, including knocking down a career-high 7 three-pointers.

Campbell plays its third straight road game next Thursday at Charleston. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
