BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell wrestling team continues its home slate on Friday with a SoCon showdown against Gardner-Webb, before closing the evening against Clarion at Gore Arena.
Action begins at 5 p.m. as the Camels take on Gardner-Webb, followed by Gardner-Webb versus Clarion. The night concludes with Campbell squaring off against Clarion.

SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
The Runnin' Bulldogs enter the matchup with a 3-8 overall record and a 0-1 SoCon mark after falling to Chattanooga last Friday in Boiling Springs.
Campbell holds a 7-0 advantage in the all-time series, including a 4-0 record against Gardner-Webb in Buies Creek. The two teams last met Jan. 17, 2025, with the Camels earning a 31-9 victory.
The Runnin' Bulldogs are led by redshirt sophomore T.K. Davis and senior Josh McCutchen, both of whom were named to the preseason All-SoCon team. Davis entered the 2025-26 season as the defending SoCon champion in his weight class and the reigning SoCon Freshman of the Year. Gardner-Webb was picked to finish fifth in the SoCon preseason poll.
SCOUTING CLARION
Clarion enters the weekend with a 1-3 overall record. The Golden Eagles are coming off their first win of the season, rallying for a MAC victory against Buffalo last Friday at home after trailing by seven points.
Clarion is led by head coach Keith Ferraro, who is in his 12th season at the helm. The meeting will mark just the second all-time matchup between the Camels and Golden Eagles. The first came Nov. 13, 2016, at a neutral site, where Campbell earned a 28-12 win.

LAST TIME OUT
The Campbell wrestling team opened its home schedule Saturday afternoon, dropping duals to The Citadel and Rider.
Campbell fell 26-9 to The Citadel in the opening dual.
Logan Heil put the Camels on the board at 133 pounds with a 1-0 decision, while
Ryan Bolletino added a 4-1 win at 174 pounds.
Sawyer Van Rider closed the dual with a 2-1 decision at heavyweight.
In the second matchup, Campbell suffered a 42-3 loss to Rider.
Kendrick Hodge accounted for the Camels' lone victory, earning a 4-1 decision at 157 pounds.
PRESEASON TALK
Campbell was picked to finish sixth in the Southern Conference preseason poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
The Camels enter their first season under head coach
TJ Dudley, a three-time All-American who was promoted after serving as a Campbell assistant. Dudley takes over a program that went 7-1 in SoCon duals last season, earning wins over Gardner-Webb, Chattanooga, Davidson, Bellarmine, Presbyterian, VMI and Appalachian State.
