BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell wrestling prepares for a key weekend of SoCon action, opening on the road at Bellarmine on Friday before returning home to host Chattanooga on Sunday.
The Camels will face the Knights in Louisville, Ky., at 7 p.m. Friday, then return to Buies Creek for a 1 p.m. match Sunday in Carter Gym in the final home contest of the 2026 season.

SCOUTING BELLARMINE
Bellarmine enters the weekend third in the SoCon standings with a 3-1 conference record. The Knights are coming off their first league loss, falling 30-6 at App State.
Redshirt sophomores AJ Rallo and Noah Hall recorded Bellarmine's only wins against the Mountaineers, improving to 4-0 in SoCon bouts. Rallo was named to the SoCon preseason all-conference team at 141 pounds and earned SoCon all-freshman honors in 2024-25. Bellarmine was picked to finish fourth in the league's preseason poll.
SCOUTING CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga sits fourth in the SoCon with a 2-1 conference mark. The Mocs are coming off a narrow 19-18 loss to The Citadel. Cooper Flynn is ranked as high as No. 17 by Open Mat at 125 pounds, while Landon Jones is ranked No. 32 in the NCAA Coaches Poll at 184 pounds. Chattanooga was selected to finish first in the SoCon preseason poll, receiving three first-place votes.

The Campbell wrestling team fell to Appalachian State, 29-12, on Senior Night Friday at Gore Arena.

Kendrick Hodge each recorded victories for the Camels in the dual. Campbell built early momentum with wins in three of the opening five bouts, but Appalachian State closed the match with five consecutive victories to pull away.
Crouch set the tone at 125 pounds, earning a pin just 27 seconds into his match. Heil followed with a 7-2 decision at 133 pounds to give Campbell a 9-0 lead. Hodge added a 7-4 decision at 157 pounds, briefly putting the Camels back in front midway through the dual.
Campbell either led or stayed within one score through the first half of the match before the Mountaineers pulled away across the final weights.
PRESEASON TALK
Campbell was picked to finish sixth in the Southern Conference preseason poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
The Camels enter their first season under head coach
TJ Dudley, a three-time All-American who was promoted after serving as a Campbell assistant. Dudley takes over a program that went 7-1 in SoCon duals last season, earning wins over Gardner-Webb, Chattanooga, Davidson, Bellarmine, Presbyterian, VMI and Appalachian State.
