BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell returns to action this weekend, heading to the 2018 Cliff Keen Collegiate Invitational, November 30-December 1 in Las Vegas.
FloWrestling will livestream all sessions of the tournament at the Las Vegas Convention Center, while live results can be found via FloArena.
Competition begins at noon (Eastern) with quarterfinal rounds beginning at 9 p.m. Consolation quarterfinals start at noon Saturday, with championship semifinals and consolation rounds at 1 p.m. Championship and consolation finals will be at 6 p.m.
The 37th Annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational features 11 ranked programs, according to FloWrestling. According to FloWrestling, as many as 115 ranked wrestlers will compete over the weekend. Each weight class features eight or more ranked grapplers and 10 or more in eight weight classes.
This is Campbell's first action since November 17-18 at the Navy Classic and the Wolfpack Open.
Josh Heil (149 pounds) and
Andrew Morgan (174) both won their weight classes, leading Campbell at the Navy Classic. The Camels finished fifth in the team standings (71.5 points) with four placers, including
Odgerel Batkhishig taking runner-up honors and
Laith Alsous earning a third place showing, both at heavyweight.
Quentin Perez (174) placed third and
Allen Swanson (157) took sixth, leading Campbell at the Wolfpack Open.
Following the Las Vegas Invitational, the Camels will head to the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships December 29-30.
