Trevon Compito, a sophomore sprinter out of Fayetteville, N.C., is in his second season with the Campbell track & field program. Compito was a part of the distance medley relay team that won the conference title at the 2018 Big South Indoor Championships. He has personal records of 11.67s in the 100m, 23.38s in the 200m and 50.81s in the 400m. The Accounting major earned Big South Presidential Honor Roll accolades in 2017.

Why did you decide to compete in track & field: This is what I love to do. I love to compete, as well as stay in shape and make a statement.
Who was your greatest influence growing up: My mother is my biggest influence because she has raised me by herself and has done everything on her own.
Other sports played: Basketball and football
Favorite track & field event to watch: 4x400m relay
What is your favorite memory during your track & field career: Winning the state championship in the 400m my senior year of high school
What professional track & field athlete would you like to compete with: Usain Bolt. Just to witness how fast he is in person
Which professional athlete would you most like to meet: Kevin Durant because he is my all-time favorite athlete.
What do you like to do in your free time: Play video games or hang out with my team
What is something that your teammates may not know about you: I like to draw when I have absolutely nothing else to do.
