Camels compete at Aggie Invitational

GREENSBORO, NC - Two program top 10 marks were set during the weekend at the Aggie Invitational, hosted by NC A&T. 

Zoie Hembree cleared 3.37m on the pole vault, a season best and good for sixth in program history. 

The 4x100 squad of Janelle Caldeira, Amanda Ballard, Timayah Brown, and Ty'Nasia Emory clocked a 46.95, the eighth fastest mark in program history to finish 12th in the event. 

Elsewhere, Camels finished 1-2 in the 3000m steeplechase. Craig Costa set the pace at 10:02.43, with Spencer Thompson behind at 10:12.24, both setting new PRs.

Jenna VanRyn set a new PR and finished fourth in the 1500m at 4:40.40. VanRyn also led the Camels in the 800m at 2:17.25 to finish 10th and lead five Camels to new PRs in the event.

Jacob Morrison set PRs in both the 800m (1:55.14) and 1500m (4:04.30). 

The Camels return to action in two weeks at the Duke Twilight Meet to wrap up the 2026 regular season.
