Camels run at Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Four Fighting Camels wrapped up competition at the Wake Forest Invitational over the weekend.

Mario Canterero ran twice, clocking a 1:52.13 in the 800m, and a 3:53.19 in the 1500m. His 1500m time is good for 10th in program history and a new PR for the junior.

Emelyn Lacour logged a 2:32.92 in the 800m.

Delaney Horton posted a 4:38.51 in the 1500m to clock a new PR and finish third in her heat.

Emily Pierce ran in the 5000m and finished third in her heat of 26 runners with a mark of 16:56.60, a new PR.

The Camels return to action in two weeks at the Duke Twilight Meet to wrap up the 2026 regular season.
