Camels wrap up regular season at Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. - Two Camels climbed the program record books during the Duke Twilight event, the final meet of the regular season. 

Emily Pierce and Mario Cantarero both ran the second fastest times in program history in the 800m, Pierce clocking a 2:09.26, and Cantarero with a 1:49.78. Both runners set new PRs with their times.

Ty'Nasia Emory finished 18th out of 42 with a 11.93 in the women's 100m.

Other PRs for Campbell included Emelyn Lacour in the women's 1500m (4:39.03), Jorge Becerra in the men's 800m (1:56.51), and Jacob Morrison in the men's 1500m (4:00.04).
Emelyn Lacour set a new PR in the women's 1500m, finishing in 4:39.03. Jorge Becerra also set a PR in the men's 800m at 1:56.51.

The Camels now turn their sights to the CAA Outdoor Championships, set for May 15-16 at Elon.
