LYNCHBURG, VA. - Dominique Alexander toppled his own school record in the 200m as Campbell finished competition at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational Saturday at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
ON THE TRACK
Alexander set a new personal and Campbell best in the men's 200m, clocking in with a time of 21.06. A sophomore from Raleigh, Alexander finished second in the event while teammate Jadarien Parker took third in 21.32.
In the women's 200m, Ryan Jackson took seventh after clocking in a time of 24.52
Ja'Travious Stewart finished third in the men's 60m with a time of 6.80.
Campbell's 4x400m men's relay team of Trevon Compito, Ebenezer Edzii, Parker and Alexander took third in 3:20.85.
IN THE FIELD
Tyrell Johnson continued his strong performance from yesterday after placing fifth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.29m (46' 10.75").
