CLEMSON, S.C. - Dominique Alexander shattered his own 200m record, the men's 4x400m relay team broke another school record and Campbell finished strong on the final day at the Clemson Invite.
Alexander started the day by running a 20.66 in the 200m. The mark ranks as the second-fastest among all of Division I this season and third fastest in Big South history. A junior from Raleigh, N.C., Alexander finished second in the event, just behind Tennessee's Javonte Harding who Division I best time of 20.64.
JaDarien Parker ran a personal record time of 21.17 in the 200m finishing fourth overall. Jamal Miller also ran a personal best time in the 200m of 22.21.
The men's 4x400m relay team consisting of Jamel Miller, Deshawn Ballard, Rashun Fountain and Glenn Skinner finished in 3:13.99, marking a new school record.
C.J. McBride took home the men's high jump crown with a clearance of 2.13m (6' 11.75").
Chastity Pickett continued her strong weekend with a 24.36 in the women's 200m while Kailey Elliot ran a 25.27.
