LYNCHBURG, Va. - Campbell earned three first-place finishes to open the Brant Tolsma Invitational on Friday.
IN THE FIELD
Gabi Goecke took first in the women's pole vault after clearing 3.60m (11' 9.75"). Amanda Ballard took third overall in the women's long jump in her Campbell debut with a mark of 5.59m (18' 4.25"). C.J. McBride earned first place in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.04m (23' 1.25").
ON THE TRACK
Dorcus Ewoi took first overall in the women's 3000m, finishing with a near personal best time of 9:34.42.
Campbell returns tomorrow for the final day of the Brant Tolsma Invitational.
