Four school records toppled at South Carolina Invite

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Three Camels set new school records as Campbell wrapped up competition at the South Carolina Invitational.

ON THE TRACK
Chastity Pickett secured her second school record performance in as many days after finishing the 200m in 23.87. Pickett, who broke Anna Scott's program record of 24.22 set in 2014, earned first place in the event.

In the men's 200m, Jamel Miller earned first place with a personal record time of 21.44. His brother, Jamal Miller, also set a personal record in the event with a time of 21.92. Dominique Alexander finished the invite only section of the event in 20.93.

Dorcus Ewoi shattered the 800m school record, previously set by Roshae Jackson in 2017, by nearly five seconds after clocking in at 2:06.72. Ewoi finished second overall in the event. Pace Clark set a personal record in the men's 800m with a time of 1:55.27.

IN THE FIELD
Omar Ibrahim broke his own school record in the men's weight throw with a toss of 17.70m (58'1"), earning third place in the event.

Patience Marshall competed in the women's shot put invite where she took third overall with a mark of 15.08m (49' 5.75").  Jefferson Hutchinson took third overall in the men's pole vault with a mark of 4.55m (14'11"). C.J. McBride continued his impressive season by taking second in the men's triple jump invite with a personal record mark of 15.43m (50' 7.5").
