Isabella Hahne was named Big South freshman of the year and will be competing in her first NCAA regional for the Campbell women's golf team Monday in the opening round at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh. After posting the third-lowest stroke average ever by a Campbell freshman, Hahne shared some insight into how she started playing golf and her career on and off the course.
How did you get started in golf?
I started playing golf when I was 5, my dad took me out to the course.
What attracted me most about Campbell in the recruiting process
The program's success and achievements and ranking, the coaches, the location, and also that several swedes were going here and that some of them I already knew.
