Camels finish weekend at Raleigh Relays

Raleigh, N.C. – Part of Campbell's split weekend on the track featured part of the squad staying local at the Raleigh Relays, held at Paul H. Derr Track at N.C. State.
 
Action got underway Thursday with throwing events. Autumn Judd set a new person best in the shot put at 13.94m to finish 9th. She'd later finish 17th in the discus with a mark of 43.26. Omar Ibrahim tossed a 14.90m for 25th. Ibrahim also tossed a person best of 53.94m in the hammer throw on the final day of the meet. Zach Stein-Drago earned 9th in the men's javelin with a mark of 59.73m.
 
C.J. McBride's first-place finish in the high jump (2.15m) highlighted day two of the Raleigh Relays for the Fighting Camels. Kaleb Johnson finished T11 in the same event with a mark of 1.95m. Elsewhere in field events, Regan Wise posted a personal best of 4.35m in the pole vault.
 
On the track, freshman Ziyah Ethison ran a person best of 11.96 in the women's 100m.
 
Campbell returns to action next weekend at the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point April 5-6.
