The Fighting Camels open the season on October 31 in Wyoming to take on the Cowboys. Last year, Campbell defeated Wyoming by a score of 23-12.
That is followed by a trip to the Southeast Open on the first Saturday of November. At the same event last season, 15 Camels placed in the top six of their respective divisions.
"We are going to figure out really quick where we measure up against the best in the country," said Sentes, "and that data is going to help us know where we need to improve as the season progresses."
The team travels to Pennsylvania to participate in WrangleMania on November 9. At the event, the Camels will face off against NC State and California Baptist.
The first home match of the season follows on Friday the 15
th, as Campbell welcomes Nebraska to Buies Creek in a return trip after last year's contest. A second-straight Big 10 opponent, Minnesota, will host the Camels on Nov. 24.
The Camels have nearly a month away from competition, next wrestling at the Knockout Collegiate Classic in Kissimmee, Fla., on December 21. The Camels will face West Virginia, North Dakota State and Wisconsin.
"We have several guys on the roster who can earn NCAA All-American status, and we aim to prepare them for that moment by competing against the toughest programs in the country," Sentes stated.
Two tournaments will follow for Campbell, the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn., on January 4-5 and the Franklin and Marshall Open in Lancaster, Penn., on Jan. 10.
The two tournaments are followed by the beginning of conference action. The Camels were a perfect 8-0 against SoCon members last season. They begin with visits to Gardner-Webb (Jan. 17) and Chattanooga (Jan. 19) before hosting Bellarmine on Jan. 24.
Campbell will once again participate in the Chippewa Challenge, this year hosted by American University in Washington D.C. on Jan. 26. The Camels will face off against American, Central Michigan and CSU Bakersfield in an event they went 3-0 in last year.
The Camels host SoCon foe Davidson on Jan. 31, before travelling to Lawrenceville, N.J., to face off against Rider on February 2.
Coach Sentes's squad closes out the year with four SoCon bouts. They host both VMI and Presbyterian on Feb. 9 and face The Citadel on the road (Feb. 14) before closing out the regular season on the road against App State (Feb. 23).
The season will conclude with the SoCon Championship tournament, which will be held in early March at a location yet to be finalized. That is followed by the NCAA Championships at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, beginning March 20.
