LYNCHBURG, Va. - Two Camels earned first-place finishes and Lakelyn Bass set a new pole vault school record as Campbell completed competition at the Brant Tolsma Invitational.
IN THE FIELD
Bass' clearance of 3.80m (12' 5.5") set a new school record in the pole vault.
C.J. McBride earned yet another first-place finish, this time in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.25m (50' 0.5"). Carson Key earned an indoor personal record in the triple jump with a mark of 13.84m (45' 5").
Patience Marshall took first in the shot put with a mark of 15.57m (51' 1") in her first competition in over a year.
ON THE TRACK
Ebenezer Edzii set a personal record time of 7.13 in the 60m while several Campbell distance runners made their season debuts.
Campbell will take next weekend off before heading to the South Carolina Invite, Feb. 3-4 in Columbia, S.C.
