Two program records set at Aggie Classic

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Eight event wins and two new program records highlighted Campbell's two days at the Aggie Classic at NC A&T Friday and Saturday.

Brianna Clayton grabbed the top spot and tallied a new program record in the 200M with a time of 23.28.

The men's 4x400 relay team also set a new program record with a mark of 3:07.43. The relay team featured Alexander, Ballard, Burton, and Cobbs.

Jamal and Jamel Miller each took a first-place finish, with Jamal's in the 100M (10.15), and Jamel in the 400M (46.55). Jamal Miller's 100M time ranks ninth in the nation this outdoor season.

Both the men's and women's 4x100 teams stood atop the podium. The men ran a 39.25 (Alexander, Ballard, Burton, Cobbs), and the women ran a 44.66 (Pickett, Ramsey, Clayton, Harris).

Chastity Pickett continued her dominance of the 400H, running a 56.12 to earn the top spot and post the #5 time in the NCAA this spring, also already owning the third fastest set earlier in the season.

Destiny Bailey-Perkins grabbed first place in the long jump at 6.00M.

Other podium finishes included Dominique Alexander in the 100M (10.33), Jaidyn Ramsey in the 100M (11.40), and Alexander in the 200M (20.98).

The Camels will be back in action this weekend at the Charlotte Invitational April 26-27.
