COLUMBIA, S.C. & ATLANTA, GA. - Chastity Pickett lowered her school record in the 400 meter hurdles as Campbell wrapped up competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational and the USC Open.
Pickett dropped her 400m hurdles time by .01 seconds, setting a new school record time of 57.46 as she earned first place in the event. Her time ranks 25th in the country and 18th in the east.
C.J. McBride took first in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.26 meters (50' 0.75").
Autumn Judd set a personal best in the women's discus with a mark of 45.69m (149' 11").
Andre Douglas ran a personal best time of 54.71 in the men's 400m hurdles while both Jaidyn Ramsey (24.48) and Kailey Elliott (24.67) achieved personal bests in the 200m.
Dominique Alexander, Andre Bent, Rashun Fountain and Jamal Miller ran a 39.78 4x100m relay, a time that ranks 39th nationally and 15th in the east.
At the USC Open both Isabella Rowland (2:21.16) and Holly Johnson (2:41.44) set personal bests in the 800m while Chloe Soorus took first place in the women's pole vault with an outdoor personal best clearance of 3.35m (10' 11.75").
