CHARLOTTE, N.C. / JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Chastity Pickett once again lowered her own school record in the 400 meter hurdles and several Camels set personal records while competing at the Charlotte Invitational and the East Coast Relays on Friday.
Headlining the first day at the East Coast Relays, Pickett dropped her 400 meter hurdles time down to 57.29. Her time currently ranks 20th in the country.
Jamel Miller finished as the top collegian in the men's 200 meters, finishing fourth with a personal best time of 20.71. Dominique Alexander finished slightly behind in fifth with a season best time of 20.73.
In the women's 200m both Jaidyn Ramsey (24.05) and Kailey Elliott (24.38) set personal best times.
C.J. McBride took third place in the men's high jump after clearing 2.13 meters (6' 11.75").
At the Charlotte Invitational, Autumn Judd set two personal records with marks of 50.11 meters (164' 5") in the women's hammer and 46.13m (151' 4") in the discus.
Evan Brock also earned a pair of personal bests with a mark of 43.36m (143' 3") in the men's discus and 41.92m (135' 5") in the hammer throw. Additionally, Zach Stein-Drago set a personal record in the men's hammer with a mark of 44.09 meters (144' 8").
