All-America golfer Jim Bromley was inducted into the Campbell Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 1, 1988.  He led Campbell to a third-place finish in the 1977 NAIA National Tournament after capturing the NAIA individual title that same year.

A native of Paoli, Pa., Bromley arrived at Campbell in the fall of 1975 after transferring from Louisburg College.  He won individual honors in the first event (The Madison Tournament) as a Camel and claimed the title in Campbell’s 1976 fall invitational.

The Campbell captain in 1977, Bromley earned Most Valuable Player honors after winning the NAIA District 29 individual title and leading the Camels to the team crown.  He followed with the NAIA national individual title in Campbell’s final season before its program moved to NCAA Division I.

Bromley earned his B.S. degree in psychology in 1977.  He turned professional in 1978 and has served as head professional at Whitemarsh Valley CC in Lafayette Hills, Pa. and most recently at Raven’s Claw in Pottstown, Pa.
